Waterfall 2
Park by the side of the road after the bridge to Roveredo. The trail near the pic-nic area will take you to the sunny beaches of Rio Simon. At the end of the trail, cross the Rio where possible and start walking upriver. Let the emerald pools created by Canal del Ferro’s typical mineralization process amaze you. You can continue safely until you catch a glimpse of the mouth of the canyon overlooked by the waterfall, but avoid getting too close. A wall made of dolomite banks, wedged together to form a buttress, will be your backdrop. End your day snacking in the picnic area: you deserve it.
